[WICHTIG] Problemen mit Peek treibern! Bitte um Hilfe

Hi,

wenn airodump starten will dann sagt das Progg immer das ich keine Peek treiber habe.

So ich habe ein Notebook mit einem "Intel(R) PRO Wirelles 3945AGB Network" =>Wlan ist integriert!

Die Seite wo man die treiber runterladen kann habe ich gefunden http://www.wildpackets.com

Meine eigentlich Frage:

Welche von den 5 Treibern ist der richtig für meine und wo muss ich die dateien hin entpacken???

Wäre echt super wenn mir jemand weiter helfen kann!

anscheinend keine wie du sehen kann hat keine der genannten packets deine karte als namen^^

nimmste linux ic frage mich wieso jeder es mit WINDOOF versucht!

aircrack-ng ist das beste was es gibt und natürlich am besten auch unter Linux verwenden das steigert das potenzial des programms noch um einiges!

Wenn ich mir so ne karte kaufen sollte wie zum Beispiel die Netgear WAG511 wo muss ich die Atheros Teiber hin entpacken ?

Wäre noch nett wenn mir das jemand sagen könnte!

\\EdiT: Das sind ja alles 5 verschieden W-Lan Treiber für 5 verschiedene Karten. Welche von den 5 Karten wäre denn zu empfehen? Oder besser gesagt bei welchen von den 5 karten seid IHR eich sicher das es klappt?

ich kann dir keine empfehlen, aber ich selbs benutze auf meinem laptop :
Netgear WAG511 Atheros 4.2.1.9 funktioniert einwandfrei

Ich sag nur BackTrack 2 RoCkZ ^^ damit geht alles ^^

Ok dann denke ich mal das ich mir die Netgear holen werde doch leider weiß ich immer noch ned wo ich die Atheros Treiber hin enpacken soll?!

ich hab jetzt mal herausgefunden das man nicht umbedingt eine von den von

wildpackets genannten karten braucht sogar usb sticks sind dann möglich....

wenn ihr also eine karte habt mit so einem chipset könnt ihr einfach den atheros v.4.2.1 wireless driver nehmen egal was die von wildpackets schreiben für was für ne karte der gut sein soll

achja für die jenigen die sich jetzt fragen ja gut wo soll ich da jetzt wo hineinfügen poste ich jetzt mal ein zitat aus der readme die dabei is wenn
mann sich den driver hinunterlädt


Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
IMPORTANT!
You must first install and test the adapter with the OEM driver. Do not install the WildPackets driver until the adapter is functioning properly on your network using the OEM driver.

Install the Peek product if it's not already installed.

To install the WildPackets driver, follow these steps:

1. Open the Network Connections Control Panel.
2. Select the appropriate connection, right-click on it, and select properties.
3. Click on Configure, the Driver tab, and then on Update driver.
4. Click 'No, not this time', then Next, if your version of Windows prompts you to connect to Windows Update to search for software.
5. Click on 'Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)', and then on Next.
6. Click on 'Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.' and then on Next.
7. Click the Have Disk button.
8. If you received this driver independently from the program, for instance downloaded from the WildPackets website, then browse to the folder where you unzipped the driver and select the net5211.inf file. Otherwise, browse to the driver subdirectory in the directory where you installed the program and select the net5211.inf file (for example C:\Program Files\WildPackets\OmniPeek\Driver\Atheros).
9. Click on Open and then OK.
10. Choose the appropriate manufacturer and network adapter (or "Atheros" if you don't see yours listed) and click on Next.
11. Click on Yes to continue the installation if you receive a message saying 'Installing this driver is not recommended because Windows cannot verify that it is compatible with your hardware.'.
12. Click on 'Continue Anyway' to continue the installation if you receive a message saying 'The software you are installing for this hardware: '...' has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.'.
13. If asked for file "ar5211.sys", browse again to the directory in step 7 or choose it from the popup list.
14. Click on Finish to complete the installation and close the properties window.
15. Select Yes to reboot if asked. If not asked, we recommend that you reboot the computer anyway.




alles getestet mit der ubiquiti src (funktioniert)

achja alles auf eigene gefahr solltet ihr euren stick/ karte schrotten über nehme ich keine haftung^^

achja RTFM !!! und back|track 2 ftw ich versteh eh nicht warum alle umbedingt aircrack-ng suite umbedingt unter windows zum laufen bringen wollen da es erst unter linux das richtige potenzial entfaltet... (b|2 live cd!!!)

Naja verstehen tue ich das nicht wirklich das es auf Englisch ist.

Hat keiner vielleicht nen tut oder so wo ich die Atheros Treiber installeien muss ? Oder kann das vielleicht in eigenen worten fassen ?

Ich werde mir jett die Netgear W-Lan Card holen!
