This is a fix to the black screen bug. you need to go to your appdata folder to get to it you go to RUN and type in: %appdata% .once you are there look for the folder titled .minecraft DELETE that folder however if you have a world that you want to keep open the .minecraft folder and then open SAVES and back up any worlds you want to keep .Now the easy bit go to Minecraft login and hit download .Now try and run minecraft if this does not work try it again. If you want your worlds back go to the .minecraft folder again and move your backed up worlds back into the saves folder.If you have any more problems about this bug post them here someone will have a fix. HAPPY MINING
